As writers, we are writing to entertain and inform by using a range of cohesive devices and considering their effect on the audience.

As mathematicians, we are exploring the links between decimals, percentages and fractions and using these to solve a range of reasoning problems as well as improving the fluency of our 4 formal operations.

As scientists, we are exploring how water is transported through various animals including the human body. We are also exploring light; how light travels and how shadows are formed.

As theologists, we are considering what is means to be a Muslim in Britain today.

Home Reading

We choose our own Accelerated reader books and aim to read them at home 5 nights a week. When we finish our book, we can take a quiz either at home or at school. So far this year as a class, we have read:

Useful Information

- Our PE days are Mondays and Thursdays.

- Our music lesson is every Monday.

- Homework is set on a Monday and must be returned by Friday.
