Welcome to the Nursery class page. Our class teacher is Miss Turner and our support staff are Mrs Bennett and Miss Khatun.

Children of pre-school age have now started to learn how to read and write. They are currently learning simple single letter sounds. Please see our phonics page for more information.

Forest school is on  Monday morning. Although children wear puddle suits, please ensure children bring a coat appropriate for the weather that they may need to wear over the top. 

Nursery Sessions

Children in receipt of 15 hours:

Monday - Friday

8:45am - 11:45am OR 12:15pm - 3:15pm

Children in receipt of 30 hours:

Monday - Thursday 

8:45am - 3:15pm

Friday 

8:45am - 12:45pm

Additional sessions can be purchased - please speak directly to nursery staff.

Lunches

Children who attend Nursery for full days can either bring a lunch box to school or can pay £2 on the day for a hot school dinner. You may be able to apply for 2 free school meals a week on the link below.

Nursery Uniform

Physical development is a vital part of early years and we encourage children to attend nursery in clothing that enables them to access the indoor and outdoor provision safely. We recommend that children wear jogging bottoms/leggings, polo shirt, sweatshirt and velcro-fastening trainers. Puddle suits and wellies are provided when accessing Forest School.
