As the year comes to a close, explore some of the learning we have been doing both in and outside of our classroom in the last few weeks.

One of our most favourite days, possibly throughout the whole year, has been our trip to the Severn Valley Railway. We had so much fun experiencing the station and trains from the past and learning about our local community, applying what we had learnt from our transport topic.

We have been learning about the dark from our book The Dark. Under the treehouse we have used torches and pretended we are in a basement. We have also learned all about healthy routines, including preparing healthy snacks such as fruit skewers. Lots of us tried fruit we had not tasted before.

Well done Reception on a fabulous year. You have all made such wonderful progress and we are so proud of you. Keep being your lively, happy and excited selves, you have such an exciting journey ahead!
