Administrative Assistant

We are looking for;

An experienced Administrative Assistant to work 33.75 hours per week, term-time plus 5 TED days only

Grade 3 to 4 (based on experience)

£20,498 - £23,039 per annum actual salary - Pay Award Pending

To start: 1st September 2026

 

St. Mary’s CE (VA) Primary School is seeking to appoint an experienced Administrative Assistant to start work as soon as possible.  The post is for 33.75 hours per week 8.15am – 3.30pm (1/2 hour lunch), term time only plus 5 TED days.

We are looking for a skilled administrator preferably with front-line experience of working in a busy school environment.  You will need to have excellent communication skills, be flexible, have a good sense of humour and an excellent knowledge of both Word and Excel. 

The post will cover:-

  • Reception duties including telephone calls
  • Attendance / registration
  • General admin duties
  • Some finance duties

Year 1 Teacher for Maternity Cover

Main Pay Scale: £32,916 to £45,352
