Revised Arrangements for Children Coming into School
Fri 16 Dec 2022From Wednesday 4th January 2023 we are changing how children come into school in the morning to ease congestion and get children into the building quicker as the weather worsens.
Years 5 and 6 may enter through the small gate by the main entrance at 8.30am without parents and go straight to classrooms where staff are waiting at the entrance doors
Years 3 and 4 will now enter through the double field gates at 8.45am WITHOUT PARENTS and make their way to their classroom when staff will be waiting on the way
Years 1 and 2 will enter through the small nursery gate on the field and be taken to their class teachers on the field
Years Reception and Nursery enter through small Nursery gate as currently
Parents are only to use the small nursery gate to bring children from nursery to year 2. No parents through double field gates.
END OF DAY TO REMAIN AS NORMAL - REMEMBER SCHOOL FINISHES AT 3.15PM

Transition Days
Tue 18 Aug 2020Transition Session
What
Next week, your child is welcome to come in for a short transition session. This will be particularly useful for any children who have not been in school since March due to COVID.
Why
The sessions are aimed at giving children a chance to experience the routines in place to keep them safe when returning to school (such as social distancing on entry/exit, washing hands and temperature checking on arrival etc). The sessions will also allow children to see their new teacher/classroom.
They will take part in a few small activities and best of all have a FREE BURGER or HOT DOG and drink at the end.
When / Where
Bring your child to the Stoney Lane entrance at 11.00am and collect them from there at 1.00pm.
They will not need to bring anything.
