St. Mary's Worship Crew are a friendly and helpful group who are working to inspire and support all of our collective worship and Religious Education in school.

September 2024

As the new school year starts, we will be looking to recruit new members to help us to lead and support our collective worship and ensure that we are developing our understanding of Christian values and spirituality in school.

A key focus for the upcoming school year, will be building more opportunities for prayer by developing areas around our school. If you are interested in becoming a member of the worship crew, please read the job description and person specification below.

Worship Crew highlights from 2023-24:

• Collaborated on the new school vision and values and held a coffee morning with parents/carers and governors to decide on the values we needed to prioritise as a school.

• Led drama and teaching during our Easter service in church.

• Began to take responsibility for parts of our shared collective worship.

• Made plans to evaluate and improve our collective worship to meet the needs of the children at our school.
