Nursery Curriculum

At St Mary's, we use CUSP Early Foundations to support and inform our planning to meet the needs of all pupils.

Each week a core text is used during structured story time to introduce key language, ideas and themes. Opportunities and experiences enable children to explore, experiment and think hard about new and important concepts through play and guided activities. The Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and the Birth to 5 Matters Guidance are used to ensure the children have the foundational knowledge to prepare them for the next phase in their education and beyond.
